Karina Smirnoff attended last night’s Tao’s 5th Year Anniversary at The Venetian Resort & Casino last night where she flashed the gorgeous 4.5 carat Asscher Cut diamond engagement ring she received from Brad Penny confirming their engagement. She told People they’ve been engaged since October 4:

“We kept it quiet because my family is in New York and Brad’s family is in Oklahoma so we kind of wanted them to come out and celebrate and be a family first before we let the cat out of the bag”

Her manager was in on the surprise proposal by telling her the president of Twitter wanted to meet her:

“We went to this restaurant and [my manager] got on her phone and said ‘this guy is killing me,’ and got up and walked away, Then Brad walked in and it still didn’t register. He got down on one knee and he opened the box and I said, ‘Thank you’. I honestly didn’t expect it.”

Brad didn’t attend last night’s celebration but did send a hand-written note of apology in a fortune cookie with an Everlon diamond necklace.  Karina says:

“I’m marrying a Southern Gentleman”

Biotch you are marrying a rich, generous Southern gentleman.  Congratulations to the happy couple.

It’s no secret that Holly Madison wants to marry her sugar-daddy Hugh Hefner and even have his baby, but he has been very honest about the fact he doesn’t want to marry again since his split from Kimberley Conrad. 

Bridget was recently overheard telling a friend that there will be a “huge wedding” during the next season (of Girls Next Door) and that she and Kendra may finally be moving out of the Mansion.

A source told OK!USA she said they will be moving on since Holly is Hef’s main girlfriend. Holly is taking a bigger role in the company, directing pictorials.”

Seeing as Hef is still legally married to Kimberley Conrad, we will know it’s true when he seeks a legal divorce!

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi wed last night in a small and intimate gathering at their home in the Hollywood Hills.  De Rossi, 35, wore a backless, light pink dress, and DeGeneres, 50, dressed in white pants, button-up shirt (pink striped) and white vest. According to an onlooker: 

“They were hugging and kissing, and looked ecstatic,” the onlooker adds. “Ellen was helping Portia with the train of her dress, which looked like a Cinderella tutu.”

Ten large Pizza’s were delivered to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi’s wedding, and even though there were less than 20 guests, a media stir was still caused with press waiting by the gates and flying above in helicoptors.

Jessica Biel attended the 4th Annual ‘Hollyshorts’ film festival Opening night celebration at the Egyptian Theatre in West Hollywood, California last night.  

Apparently, she finds wedding bells to be funny, since when she was asked by a reporter if there were any in her future, she replied with a cryptic laugh.

I guess we can take that one of two ways:  she isn’t interested in marriage, or something’s cooking!!!

Rumours are circulating that the couple will tie the knot later this year in Los Angeles. It is believed the wedding will take place in November which is around the same time Lindsay releases her new album Spirit In The Dark.

According to the source:

They’ve been keeping the relationship quiet for months and trying to pass each other off as ‘just good friends’.  “But they’ve decided it isn’t a fling, it’s for life – so they want to make their romance public. Dina is still working on the date of the party but it’s looking like towards the end of the year.”

Samantha seems to be a good influence on Lindsay.  Do you think this relationship is serious?

 The other day I posted the one dress she tried on.  Here is another.  ExtraTV.com is polling people on which dress they prefer.

Personally, I just don`t think either is “perfect“ for her.  I think there is something out there that would suit her better (like I know anything about wedding gowns).
